The Kinderecke (“Kids Corner”) is a special space for families to make crafts and memories together during all Market hours. In German households, it’s not uncommon to have a dedicated corner in the kitchen or family room for kids to create and do crafts.
Join us in this special kid-friendly hut to make all sorts of fun holiday-themed or German-inspired creations! Our staff and volunteers are excited to help you with your masterpieces.

The Kinderecke is one of three locations where you can pick up your Kinder Club Passport - your key to kid-approved Kinder Club fun across the Market! The other two locations are the Spielhaus and Guest Services.
Not quite a kid anymore, but still up for some fun? Pick up a scavenger hunt at any of the three locations for some serious trivia and German culture facts!
Grab your passport, find the passport signs on different huts, get stamps & show your collection to Guest Services for a small prize.

The Carmel Christkindlmarkt's portable Kugelbahn is in collaboration with Carmel's Sister City of Seiffen, Germany which is the world-renowned home of traditional wooden toy making. Throughout Seiffen, visitors can find Kugelbahn installations as part of the town's distinct charm. The Kugelbahn blends engineering principles like gravity and motion with generations of Erzgebirge craftsmanship. At the Market, visitors can find a stationary Kugelbahn, dropping and watching a wooden ball (marble) wind through tracks, turns, and drops as they experience physics in action.
The Kugelbahn stands as a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange between Carmel and Seiffen, fostering German awareness, harmony, and shared appreciation for craftsmanship and engineering.
