If you're planning a trip to the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, we highly recommend extending your stay to fully immerse yourself in the holiday activities. One of the most frequent inquiries we receive from visitors is about accommodations.

For your convenience, we have compiled a list of nearby hotels within several miles of Carter Green, where the Carmel Christkindlmarkt takes place. Please note that reservations must be made directly with the hotel or through a third-party travel agent or website. The Market does not handle hotel reservations.

Hotel Carmichael

Hotel Carmichael is a Market partner and a Marriott Autograph Collection boutique hotel in the heart of Carmel. It is steps away from the Carmel Christkindlmarkt. 

The six-story, 122-room hotel draws inspiration from the 18th-century architect Robert Adam. Its name pays homage to Carmel and Michael Feinstein, the Grammy-nominated performer and artistic director of The Center for the Performing Arts. Home2 Suite by Hilton Carmel Indianapolis is a Market partner and Hilton hotel located off Indiana State Highway 31 and less than two miles from the Carmel Christkindlmarkt. Local camping options open in the Winter

Indiana State Fair/Monon Campgrounds - 12 miles away

Monon Campgrounds at the Indiana State Fairgrounds offers RV electric-only hookups from November through March (weather permitting). Most sites have full hookups with 20—and 50-amp services and can accommodate up to 60-foot RVs. Water and sewer will be turned off when temperatures reach freezing. Bathhouses and laundry facilities are available on-site, and pets are welcome.

Hunt Club Distillery - RV Spaces - 16 miles away

The Hunt Club Distillery is a boutique distillery in Sheridan where RVers can reserve spots through Harvest Host. This unique destination provides three spacious RV sites through the Market season, each accommodating vehicles up to 45 feet long. Water hookups are available, and pet owners and those utilizing generators are welcome. A range of amenities includes a picnic shelter, fire pits, nature trails, volleyball and basketball courts, and a playground. River views and a late check-out are additional perks.

Teter Family Retreat - 17 miles away 

The Teter Family Retreat spans 120 acres in Noblesville and offers a cabin rental experience for larger groups. The Ruth Cabin is available year-round and can accommodate up to 28 people in four units. Each unit is designed as a bunkhouse, featuring three bunk beds, a private bathroom, and a dinette area.

Mystic Water Family Campground - 22 miles away

Along Interstate 69 in Pendleton, Mystic Waters Family Campground welcomes visitors year-round. It features primitive tent sites (available through November), RV sites that accommodate up to 60 feet, and rustic cabins. The campground has three bodies of water, providing opportunities for fishing, outdoor activities, and volleyball. It also houses a Lodge where visitors can relax and enjoy games like ping pong, football, and video games. Amenities at the campground include bathhouses with hot water, fire pits, a camp store, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
