This position requires a smile and willingness to help in many areas. Primary duties include providing information on market to guests, assisting the team lead with check-in of volunteers, oversee lost & found, operate hand-held radios as needed, float to any other volunteer areas as needed, work in CCKM Retail Hut if needed, answer questions, hand out candy. Combination of sitting/standing and floating around the market to assist with other duties as needed.

Will help create a celebratory atmosphere for visitors. Your smile and welcoming words will be the foundation for a wonderful guest experience. Responsibilities include answering general questions, helping guests locate vendors, skate admissions & rental, restrooms, etc., and promoting the entertainment of the day.

Greet children and families, explain the crafts in the room, assist with crafts if needed, help clean up the crafting area after each visitor, keep the room tidy. Thank you! Special craft times on Saturdays may require more hands-on help.

Christkindlmarkt is the place for creating holiday memories! Photo takers will assist guests by taking photos using the guest's camera at the photo stations as well as throughout the market. May also float to other areas as needed. Having a comfort with cameras and phone technology is helpful in this role.

Volunteers will help where needed the most:

Spielhaus (Meet & Greet hut): Friendly and engaging individuals needed to assist special character visits. Duties include helping with line control, helping families take photos with special characters, helping characters with breaks as needed, stamping KinderKlub passports, and other tasks as needed. 

Werkstatt (German artists demonstrating their craft): Friendly and curious individuals needed to greet visitors, introduce the artists, assist with line control. Great for German speakers or German language learners! Help with on the spot translations may be needed, but are not required.

Assist the hut manager with selling, wrapping and replenishing shelves with boot mugs and other Christkindlmarkt Souvenir items as needed. Must be friendly and comfortable working in a fast paced environment with a team during busy weekend hours. Retail hut is exposed to outdoor element but has an overhead space heater.

Survey Taker: To keep Christkindlmarkt exciting and fresh, it is vital to gather opinions from visitors. A brief survey will be completed on iPads. The person for this position should be comfortable engaging others into conversation. May also float to other areas as needed.
